Skincare during Winter!!

The frigid, brutal winter affects both your immune system and skin. There may be times when you feel that no amount of cream or lotion will be able to sufficiently hydrate your skin, and no matter what you do, your skin will always seem lifeless and drab. While you might be tempted to reach for high-end, pricey beauty products, there's a chance that doing so might make things worse. These cosmetics are best avoided since the chemicals they contain are bad for your skin.

Now the question is… How can you maintain hydrated skin in the winter without using products that include chemicals???

Your skin will stay smooth and supple if you consume plenty of the heart-healthy fats found in fish, seeds, and nuts as well as antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables.

You can include the following foods in your diet to have healthy, radiant skin:

1. Carrot: - Carrots are a great source of vitamin C, an antioxidant that helps the body produce collagen and is necessary for keeping your skin flexible. Carrots are rich in lycopene and beta-carotene, two antioxidants that protect the skin from UV ray damage. Even though the sun is not as brilliant in the winter, UV radiation are still there all around us. Carrots' vitamin A, potassium, and antioxidant content prevent dry skin and other skin-tone issues.

Note: Carrots must be taken in a moderate amount or including it with other vegetables as it may cause Carotenemia (yellow-orange skin pigmentation due to high carotene levels in the blood).

2. Beetroot: - You can get anti-inflammatory betalains ((reduces cancer risk and lessens tumor cell growth) and other phytonutrients from eating or drinking beets. Drinking a glass of beetroot juice each day helps to cleanse the blood and remove toxins, leaving your skin healthy and radiant. Additionally, using it directly on your skin has many advantages. Your skin will look suppler and smoother after it helps remove dead skin cells.

Note: Oxalates are abundant in beetroot, and consuming too much of them might cause kidney stones.

3. Berries: - The majority of berries, including strawberries, blackberries, and cranberries, are rich in antioxidants that protect the body from free radicals that can result in wrinkles and fine lines on the skin. Regularly eating a variety of berries promotes skin cell regeneration and protects our skin from UVA and UVB radiation harm. Gather some berries, then, and savor their sharp flavor.

Note: Eating too many berries is not so bad unless you have diabetes. For diabetics, eating excessively can raise blood sugar levels.

Furthermore, many more veggies can enhance the positive effects of your healthy diet on your skin!!!!!!!!!!!!

Additionally, dry fruits like almonds, walnuts, prunes, and raisins support healthy skin and the body's detoxification process. Walnuts are among the best dry fruits for the skin because they are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B, and healthy oils.

Eat healthily and stay healthy!!!

Happy Winters!!! ♥♥
